Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (2021 – 2023)

About

This application is a cloud-native solution that enables customers to find, understand, trust and access their data. It brings together data governance, data catalog and data quality capabilities into a singular tool for automating data intelligence insights.

The solution delivers predictive data intelligence — automated and recommendation-driven data classification, data curation and relationship and sensitive data discovery powered by CLAIRE™ AI and ML to accelerate deep and broad metadata connectivity — allowing organizations to quickly drive business value from trusted data. Cloud Data Governance and Catalog enables efficient self-service analytics and data governance by unifying the capabilities of data discovery, lineage, profiling, business glossary creation and stakeholder and policy management — as well as the ability to document and manage AI models and their implementations.

Users

The user base included a spectrum of business and technical users from content consumers like line of business users, governance admins on governance side, data engineers, data scientists on the catalog side to content creators like data analysts and data stewards.

My role

Lead designer working with and managing a team of designers.

• Working with UX researchers for various user studies
• Gathering design feedback from customers, internal sales teams and product stakeholders
• Implementation QA
• Identify design improvement areas in the product (empty states, in-pp help,  )
• Overall work planning and UX delivery management for the team
• Working with project team stakeholders – product management, development, QA, pre-sales and documentation for release planning and day to day deliverables
