Glazed and chocolate ganache filled donuts
The holes
Ingredients (Makes 8 donuts)
1.5 cup maida
2tbsp melted butter
1tbsp sugar
1/4tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
Vanilla essence/nutmeg
½ cup milk + 3tbsp
1tsp yeast
Method
Proof yeast, make the dough. It will be a sticky dough. Let it rise for 1hr. Roll out dough, cut our doughnuts, let it proof for another 40min. Deep fry and immediately dunk in sugar glaze (powder sugar and water). Once slightly dry, dip it in the glaze again. Double glaze gives a clean finish. For filled donuts, stuff with ganache. glaze it with chocolate sauce.
what happens to the holes? fry and dunk it in sugar/chocolate glaze or roll it in powdered sugar and enjoy.
